Lifelong resident of eastern Washington, lives north of Edwall in Lincoln County with husband Craig Madsen. Daughter Amanda and son-in-law Tech Sgt. Jeremy Meier are stationed wherever the US Air Force decides to send them.

    Member of voluntary response team, mobilized as an officer of the US Public Health Service when requested by FEMA; contributed expertise as EMT and Architect 1990 to 2003, stepped down from active response in 2003 and accepted emeritus role as Eastern Washington recruiter.


  • Camp Fire Boys and Girls - Participated as a youth from elementary through high school. Served as Camp Fire Leader and Program Coordinator in Reardan for 10 years and Candy Sale Depot for Lincoln County for 5 years; awarded Hiiteni Award for innovative and inspirational service to youth. Served on the Inland Empire Council of Camp Fire Board of Directors for 6 years. Received 20 year adult membership award in January, 2004.
